If the chart shows as I intend it, a sharp turn to the upside is seen in precious metals stocks. I use ^XAU for comparison, because it includes a number of large producers for whom PMs are by-product. It therefore gives us a clearer picture in relationship to base metals, like copper and zinc.
Sometimes, however, indices for PMs can diverge from those for BMs, as we clearly have at present, and that can't last. Eventually the trends in these metals will have to coincide in terms of direction.
My bet is that BM's will soon be shooting up along with PMs, and this will be reflected in stock prices, explorers included.
