The very conventiently overlooked facts are that there is very little to be done to overcome the contibutions to greehouse gas emissions from volcanic activity. Add too intentional and natural boimass buring, algea blooms in rice paddies, and bovine flatulance and then compare this to the relatively minor consequences of such gases as by-products of modern industry.
In short, fighting climate change and expecting any "human caused", positive result is impossible, especially as a deviation from the mean in volcanic activity alone can wipe out the remotest chance for gains.
