Message: Things to ponder...

With reference to Wesley's post, I think the price of uranium MAY have to rise much more. At the most recent auction (Monday), the price settled at $35.75 per pound.

As noted in a link I put up yesterday, Energy Fuels suspended operations on a new, nearby breccia pipe a couple of years ago at somewhere around 40 dollars per pound.

Below is a five-year price chart for reference purposes.

This could mean we have to wait for a sustained price above 40 dollars before NPSP can be thought to be economic for mining. Having said that, Mr. Mueller, the buyer, is said to have invented proprietary machinery that will lower extraction costs. While we can't know by how much, I would guess 40 dollars to be a baseline to account for risks inherant within introducing a new process for extracting ore.

Personally, I've quit looking forward to this company getting any help from the NPSP deal anytime soon.

...but it's all speculation at this point. None of us has all of the facts.
