Strange turns. Since posting this, zinc and copper rose a bit, then turned. At the moment, they are up 2.6 and .8 percent respectively, when they had been up around 4 percent. As these higher prices softened, lead & aluminum & nickel pushed strongly higher with each now up 4+ percent.
PMs are up today too, but in terms of trends are still treading water. That's not likely to continue as against what's happening in base metals, IMO.
