Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
VP and KOA, that is one thing I do agree with. Chuck Vollmer had it right in his program to create American jobs. Mining could be a big part of helping us rise in a good economy or saving us in a bad one. Starting to take advantage of our resources in places like TSP and Pebble/Big Chunk could create jobs and spur growth. Even private sector jobs in remediation and environemental protection--including new technologies to mine cleanly--could help. The other day I mentioned a China expert who had the opinion that pollution was China's #1 problem. And maybe if we could mine our own gold and rare earth elements, it would contribute to national security for years to come. I do remain concerned about LBSR finding some way to sign a deal in the next few months. But I know there are some good people working on it.
