Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
The purchase price was 25 million dollars, plus royalty payments as ore is processed. Just looking at the 25 million, I don't know if the installment payments will be monthly, quarterly or annually, but I suspect the payments will be more than sufficiet to pay LBSR's current operating overheard - salaries, rent, claims renewal fees, etc.
If so, that would leave a little something extra for other purposes, maybe some staking and filing of additional claims. Recall that ZTEM revealed additional targets on which the company does not yet hold claims.
Now, if we look at additional income coming soon from royalty payments, then the cash flow looks even better. It may assist the company in advancing some work on it's own account, probably after first having inked a deal on Hay Mountain.
I am in go way suggesting that finalizing a deal on NPSP will substitute for first finding a partner at Hay Mountain.
Having said that, getting the deal done on NPSP will change the profile of LBSR from just another out-of-cash explorer to that of a royalty producing company. That alone will make the stock much more attractive in the market place, and smooth the path to other arrangements (financial and otherwise).
Hope this helps, Lvargas. For a newbie in this area, you ask good question, though I hope you've been able to profitably exist that other stock you once mentioned.
Cheers,
VP
