Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
I tend to be the kind of person who sees things in a macro way, and try not to get unduly distracted by a single event or piece of news. So, when I look at LBSR, I see the following:
1) Excellent prospects (NPSP, HM, SB, maybe Walnut Creek, and perhaps others that aren't coming to mind immediately)
2) According to press releases that we are all familiar with, a basically imminent deal with regards to NPSP which would bring in significant cash flow and eliminate or significantly reduce further dilution and disadvantageous financing
3) Significant interest from several parties. This is the result of a lot of hard work to get these potential financiers together and maintain followups on these developing relationships. This doesn't happen overnight, but it is happening. The more that are interested, the more likely it is to get the best deal(s) possible as competition comes into play. I think these presentation trips have to be looked at as a cumulative thing, not as any individual trip being "the one".
4) The demand for copper is likely to grow as supply shrinks in the near future, which will of course drive up prices. Given that the copper here appears to be of a high grade nature, I think this sets LBSR up above many other copper explorers/miners.
5) James Brisco seems to be the type of person who isn't stuck in the mindset of "the way it has always been done", but instead is on the forefront of new, innovative ways of doing things while keeping the best of what he has learned from people with good reputations in the mining industry during the course of his career.
This is just a quick summary of why I am so optimistic about this company. I have enjoyed reading all of your posts (especially VP's), as this has helped me learn many things about this industry and LBSR in particular. While I may not post very often, I read every post every day, so I appreciate the terrific insights and knowledge.
