In one respect, and as I've pointed out repeatedly, these low volumes are encouraging. It means that most of the shares are owned by deeply committed shareholders, not traders hoping in and out for small gains.

I follow a few companies for amusement and where the promoters have obviously questionable ethics. I never buy them, just watch them. In these issues, though, there appears large swings in volumes, and in the volumes and sentiments sentiments expressed on the related message boards. LBSR is pretty tame by comparison, which tells me that it is much less subject to basher/pumper efforts than most posters would think. It also suggest that the stock is not a widely owned compared to those other issues.

Again, note that the trading volume for LBSR is always shocking low given the number of outstanding shares.

What's also different here is that LBSR management takes only options, which expire worthless. Salaries are defered. Not so with stock frauds.

Just a "for what it's worth."
