At auction earlier in the week, the price of uranium (POU) dropped another 75 cents, down to $36.25 per pound.
I find it interesting to note that the recent spike in POU began after the price of oil started it's very steep fall. At this point, however, we may have to agree that these dramatically lower oil prices are influencing all energy prices, including uranium.
I will be surprised, however, if we see lower household electic and natural gas bills. Afterall, will not solar, wind and geothermal taxpayer-based subsidies to producers have go up as demand for these expensive - but political for now - alternatives falls?
...but as I've suggested, I don't think oil prices at these levels will last much longer
