Without a bounce soon, this holds very serious consequences for regional and global peace, not just financial stability. In our part of the world, Venezuela is of most concern. They've already stolen oil, mines and manufacturies, so what's left but but to steal from their neighbors by invastion or other means. No one is going to help them refinance their debt.

And they are just one of many countries in similar cicumstances.

Is it fear that is now pushing up precious metals prices, even as global monetary easing continues?
