I can't see the future, of course, and I'm still kind'a undecided as to whether or not POG is managed, but I get very suspicious when there seems to be a rising tide of bad press (propoganda?) against gold, while at the same time central banks are heaviliy adding to their hordes.

The above story is mild compared to many others out today, but it certainly helps explain why mining stocks and precious metals are getting slammed. For the time being, this concern is not being reflected in base metals prices, which are up.

These mixed signals suggest to me that POG may not be on a long-term down trend.
