Wow, what an odd day! Mining indices went from red to green and back again, now strongly higher probably for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, POG & POS look as if they may turn green too before the end of the day.

At the same time, trading in exploration stocks seems unusually low. At this point, there are no trades for Tombstone Resources, Excelsior Mining, and only 1,000 shares traded for Nord (all being in the Hay Mountain area). It's not surprising, then, to see but 15,000 shares of LBSR traded at this hour.

Interestingly, a mining fraud I follow for amusement, and which is located in a different part of Arizona, is up strongly today and with modest-to-heavy volume.
