What you mention is not appropriate for formal news releases as it can be construded to be promotional. News releases must meet SEC guidelines/rules. That means facts only, and forward-looking statements related to the NRs. Then, also, some bits of "news" by themselves are not worthy of the expense and effort of first getting clearance from outside counsel.
Also, putting out a PR is expensive, or we would certainly see a lot more of them - from LBSR and every other public company. Better to save the cash for when a PR is actually required.
