OPINION - Extract from http://www.kitco.com/ind/fulp/2013-12-18-The-Supply-and-Demand-Fundamentals-of-Uranium.html

...Any new mine developments in market economy countries require higher prices to be profitable and therefore, to be developed. There is considerable skepticism in the industry that Kazakhstan can continue to maintain production levels. Its easily-developed ISR fields are maturing and decline curves are setting in. New developments are going after deeper deposits with uranium that is technically more difficult and costlier to recover.

Therefore, the problem will become the solution at some point, as the cure for low prices is low prices. Supply and demand fundamentals control price and uranium fundamentals look bullish to me for the mid- to long-term.

In my opinion, now is a good time to find some uranium stocks on sale.

VP comment: Mineralized breccia pipes in Northern Arizona as small compared to most major unranium mining projects. For this reason individual pipes or small collections of pipes are not likely to be of interest to major mining companies. However, given that LBSR has 390 targers over it's claims area, and that mineralized pipes in this area are exceedingly rich with very low mining costs, the company's interest here are outside of the above maket analysis, making them at present of interest to the market once there is some news to bring attention to this.

JB suggests that he wants to be the major developer here, so only news from a potential JV on one target is going to help at all in the short run. But, as I keep indicating, no one should hold their breath over a single non-disclosure aggrement from which news may never evolve.

I would be very happy to see a JV here in the near term, but there is never a sense of urgency behind the party putting foward the non-disclosure aggreement.

The TSP, in my opinion, is the only place among LBSR holdings from which we will be hearing market-moving news in the near term, but that's just me.
