Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
It raises some interesting questions about the company, Guilbert, and Briscoe. Which of the following is correct?
Briscoe and team have staked, JV'd, and drilled with success before, but were hamstrung by declining mineral values and resource company share prices. Now that the mineral values are up, resource shares are high, they can return to their past claims and start the process where they left off, this time with more success in a better environment.
or
They never generated any return for investors in the past, why should we believe in them this time?
Of course I don't know the answer because this is a forecast, but I think it's worth placing a bet on LBSU. Why? Of all the things to look for in a Jr. Resource Explorer, ability to get someone else to pay for your drilling is perhaps the most important. If more experienced people than I (and I mean geologists at a major, or other market savvy investors) have read the reports and sign on the dotted line to pony up for drilling then we know we're on to something.
The Xstate JV is a great example. Bonanza Hills is another although we haven't heard from them in a while. The Kennecott drilling is a huge confirmation of the Silver Bell property's value.
Given this history (and more) I think a JV can be expected at Big Chunk with maybe 80 - 90% certainty, and yet another JV at North Pipes.
This is the game: Briscoe stakes well, JV's well, but hasn't had a big success. He now has 4 or 5 great properties lined up, with great technical data. A major is going to join the game on one if not all, and the JV announcements alone will help send us much higher. Plus XState is drilling and we should have a report in just over a month.
It's worth holding and even buying a little more to be a part of this.
