I think what the trading is telling us right now is that the higher than normal volume we saw yesterday created an opportunity for many disgruntled shareholders to sell out, and that carried over into this morning. bottom line is, the potentially good news of the past few weeks (drilling lined up with the xstate JV, and some still mysterious discussion of gold production, and vague references to new JVs at Big Chunk) simply produced enough volume to let those who wanted out to get out. And there have been more sellers than buyers, obviously.

What can we hope for? We can hope we close even or slightly up today. That would suggest the bear case lost the argument today, and that fear has peaked and turned down, and optimism is on the upswing.

That's all I have to hope for without real news. Still waiting for drilling reports, still waiting for news on this 300k oz gold deposit, still waiting for Big Chunk JV's, still waiting to hear a report on the long since mentioned Bonanza Hills, still waiting to hear how we get some cash in the coffers, etc, etc.
