If that is how you understand what happened to the users I can understand why you don't seem to be able to even see any positives with this company. From my recent understanding it would seem that when the company decided to switch from the "Freemium" model where if you build it, and it is a good product that is free, you will attract users. This is what Ortsbo did in the beginning is it not? I also read that when they decided to go with the Azure Cloud system they were able to stave off millions in costs associated with building and maintaining expensive servers to handle the Viral global growth the real time translation tech attracted. The company would have still had to pay a fee for the Cloud service which they were doing throughout the "Freemium" time. Shutting down the "free to the user" Cloud system to focus on Commercialization of the Ortsbo tech could well indeed appear to someone with little foresight to monetization and the bigger picture of what was proven to be a very popular service as a disappearing act. However it is not the case. The ongoing Cloud expenses were ditched once the true popularity of the service was proven in favour of commercialization; which is currently underway. I would be very inclined to keep an eye on New Media revenues over the next few years as even at this early stage they are on an upward trend.
