Detour Gold Wanes as Reports 2017 Year-End Mineral Reserves
11:15 AM EST, 02/23/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Detour Gold's (DGC.TO) shares were on the wane during market open at the Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday, down less than 1.0% to $12.42 apiece in a 52-week range of $11.78 - 18.88. The slight decline came after saying that Mineral reserves of gold at December 31, 2017 were 15.8 million ounces.
According to a statement, in 2017 the company had no infill drilling targeting mineral reserves within the Detour Lake pit and West Detour project. Based on the expected throughput rates projected in the March 2017 LOM plan, the remaining mineral reserve life of the Detour Lake mine is approximately 22 years as of December 31, 2017.
