TRC Capital Mini Tender Offer; Rises 3%

11:36 AM EST, 01/04/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Detour Gold (DGC.TO) added 3% in recent trade after it said it doesn't recommend that shareholders approve the unsolicited mini tender offer from TRC Capital to buy up to 5 million shares, or about 2.9% stake, in the company for $15.25 apiece.

Detour Gold shareholders who have already tendered their shares may withdraw their shares at any time before 12:01 am ET on Jan. 27.

DGC moves at the lower half of 52-week range $14.36 - $35.93.
