In all fairness to First Gold the Lovelock offfice is large well equipped and very nicely appointed. This is not something they have just moved into. They have had it and the the large portable offices at the mine site. In addition to these they also had the Corporate offices in Cameron Park, CA.
As far as location the large town of Winnamuca is 75 mi. east on I-80. The town of Fernly is 55 mi. west on I-80. The town of Fallon (Fallon Naval Air station) is 50 mi. south west. The city of Sparks is 95 mi. west on I-80. The railroad and the I-80 east west corridor runs across the nation from San Francisco to New Jersey. The first trans contintal automobil trip was on this road. This is a pleasent place to visit with rich history. The original trail of the settelers passed right through the area (Old Emigrant Road) and took on water at the historic Humbolt River which winds it's way through the valley.
The small service station (Two Stifs Selling Gas has a history. Two brothers started it and gave it a catchey name) it is a thriving gas station and mini market.
