I'd like to know why it took CFIUS so long to reject the FGD/Northwest application. After all, the armed forces base has always been 70 miles or so away from FGD's mining operations, and I fear this will have Chinese repercussions with any American company investing in China.
If FGD's prospects are sooooo great, somebody must be sitting on the sidelines just waiting to pick them up, and if they aren't then booooo to FGD for not anticipating a rejection given the fact that China are buying up gold like crazy and it would be a given that FGD's gold would end up in China.
This is a case of just two strikes and you're out but until they switch the light off behind them I'll hang in just to see what happens.
