Firstdrill enters Namibia

Firstdrill Ltd proudly announces today the signing of the contract with Sintezneftegaz Namibia Limited, to supply project management services for the drilling of a deepwater exploration well Kunene-1, in Block 1711, Namibia.

Firstdrill will provide total project management from well design, execution of the drilling program to the final end well reports.

Peter Murray, Firstdrill’s Operations Manager commented:

We are extremely pleased to be working with Sintezneftegaz, and we are totally committed to the successful drilling of the Kunene-1 well, offshore Namibia.
