I know many of you here came from the yahoo board (including myself). I really enjoy this forum and believe it will continue to grow (unlike many in the past). one of the best things I see here is the ability of posters to acquire monitoring rights (i.e. deleting posts, revoking privileges), while I can see where this could also become an issue down the road the overall affect will be positive because it allows for a board monitor to be replaced as needed (i.e. BritNick sells ENG or otherwise cant/wont do it anymore).

the reason I’m posting this is because it is my belief that the ENG message board on yahoo no longer has an active monitor (the board started yrs ago and the monitor has probably "moved on" in some way)and there is no provision to place one.

I went to the yahoo board today and clicked on a link under the "we welcome a new member" topic, the link was gay porn pic. I like joking around but many folks use there computer in family rooms, I’ve had enough. 

I sent feedback to yahoo as well as reported the violation but I doubt it will do any good. the shame of it is that I believe the recent events at yahoo are a concentrated effort from entities with short interest to control information/disinformation and not just nutcases.
