Dear Friends of Joe,

Thank you all for your many thoughts, prayers and well wishes. Joe is so fortunate to have such amazing friends.

We checked Joe in at 5:30 this morning and he went into surgery at 7:15. He actually went on bypass around 8:15 and is still in surgery. We've been told to expect the surgery to last 5 - 7 hours. I'll update you again when he's out of surgery and in ICU.
