I did not have one when I 1st bought in Mar-2000, but I did have a "greedy for commission" Prudential guy when I contacted him to possibly make a buy after checking into the company and asking others locally that owned it. It was at $11.54 that day and he said, "I have clients who love this stock." I bought 200. I do see the humor in your comment though...lol. He was happy to keep selling it to me for 3 years as it fell too!

I did hook up with a CFP after rolling the 401K to an IRA, and moved the Prudential acct to him as well, and when he saw a few OTCBB stocks he said, "I will not make recommendations one way or another for OTCBB or Pink...you are on your own there."

I have chatted with several financial advisers/CFP's at 5 firms over the last 4 years and their is a universal comment to stay away from these plays.
