It's really very simple IMO...they both violated Rule 3 and Rule 5 repeatedly. Apparently AGORACOM agreed there were violations because AGORACOM did the banning. Instead of getting so worked up, why not use the Contact Us link at the top of the page and ask?

Again, I applaud their decision.
