I always was scared of TVs growing up; because as a kid in Dad's AM Radio Station with the big 1500+watt home-brew A-1000/8-13 tube ampliflies humming/clicking, that like a mic is also a speaker then why couldn't a CRT be a CCD.

Believe this is where the old saying, ' Give it the smoke test' came from... Build it and plug-it in and if it don't smoke/explode it'll probably be okay or half-way right. lol
