I agree. I have also read that Snopes sometimes writes disinformation for devious purposes. I'll try another source for further verification but your first hand information is hard to dispute but my daughter has never seen it nor heard of it. Could just be one Wal Mart or one part of the country but here in JERSEY we would never see such an occurence (sp?). Ask Pravda, we chop off hands for less than that! Take care.
