Yes, this was very touching, and received this via e-mail many times.

A friend of mine, retired cop of 32 years, lost his Son in Iraq just over a year ago, and he is buried at Ft Rosecrans as well. It is a very chilling site to visit this National Cemetary.

If you folks ever make it to San Diego, make this one of your stops, as it will make you appreciate what you have.

As a side note, there is a young guy who was a Seal that comes into a local Irish Pub I visit my buddies at, and one day a "stranger" a newbie, a huge Man, got into an arguement with this former Seal while watching an NFL game last season. This huge Man called the young guy out, and it got very tense for a few minutes. This "kid" was not about to back down, and the other guy towered over him and probably weighed 100 Lbs more.

I walked up behind this big cluts and whispered in his ear "be careful big fella, I know this "kid" and he's a former navy Seal...he will chew you up before you have a chance to connect one blow." This cluts went to the restroom, came back and offered his hand and apology, then bought the "kid" a beer.

Smart move...
