Seriously, I live in a Polish enclave. All great (hard drinking) folks. Many do not speak English (Angielsku) and I'm trying to communicate with them. I've been a great source of amusement with my pronunciation but at least I know how to thank them for the many unsolicited favors they've done for me. A bottle of vodka also smooths out the bumps. I've been buying it by the case. :>):>)

Mom was Polish so I knew the basic amentities but you can't go around all day with a stupid grin on your face saying, "Polish people are great", when all the Polish guy is asking is if you want a beer(piwo).
