"Chrysler files for bankruptcy protection" supposedly yesterday

filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in New York after a group of creditors defied government pressure to wipe out Chrysler’s debt.

Anyone interested in buying new bonds from Fiat or the US Gov when they need cash?....lol, what a circus, throw one group out and start fresh....I'll pass. Will the bonds be backed by the full faith of the US Gov. lol, Maybe the FDIC will back them.....if you're special enough.

How long does it take to come to life on this?
