Just a note to update my previous msg. Richard & I are fine. The fire stopped less than a mile from our development, but we had big pieces of char and ash floating down like a snow storm and we still have heavy smolke in the early morning when there's no wind. The road we use is closed to everyone except the people who live out here--there are only 12 homes. When we drive out to town, we see the hot spots smoldering and the fire equipment is still on our road. The wild animals are concentrated in our area with bears and rattle snakes of particular concern. ORY
