Congress is running but it can't hide. Why the bis rush for this settlement. The dems are putting on a big front that they want to protect the people but were the most culpable for why we are in this problem in the first place. To think that we have the Fed and the secretary of the treasury putting forth the biggest boondoggle in the history of this country. It will solve nothing for the people and is just a big out for congress that got us in this to begin with.

Just listen to what those in control of the house and senate had to say about Freddie and Fannie. Barney franks after being warned by both the president and McCain as well as other people such as Greenspan, the then secretary of the treasury that both of these was going to lead to the crisis we now have. Barney Franks shot them down as well as Dodd of Conn.

The smell from this plan is very strong and hints of massive curruption. The Money that was received by many in the senate from Freddie and Fannie just stinks beyond comprehension.

Just look at the hype to get people on board to agree with this hair brain solution. They threaten that the entire country will go bankrupt if we don't do this by tomorrow . Why the rush??? what bodies do they want to conceal????

You have Benache who major interest is in banking wanting this to go forward because it bails out the banks that he represents. That smells.

The question now is also who is to be in charge of this crap?? Congress. They are the reason why we are in this problem in the first place. They listened to no one. What oversight and by whom is of the essence, but it can never be provided by the government.

When Gingrich says he is totaly in opposition to this bail out and listed many reasons why. No one is listening.

John McCain needs to be careful that what he does is not involve himself in a sell out to those that created the problem.�
