Sales, Sales to Rental Entities, Rentals?

This horse seems have been beaten to death. So, why not swat that cold corpse again.

IMO, this is not an either / or biz model. It is a customize ODM product. How else can they charge any company over $500 for the unit? Even Atul was clear - well, as clear as his very broken English could be -- that the eVU was part of a highly flexible customized closed end system. The closed end part enables EDIG to utilize their security platform which had alrady received the Okay Dokay from major film studios.

What seems very likely to me, as one who sells stuff and manages sales and OEM / ODM marketing professionals, is that EDIG (specifically Willy) will SELL any type of closed end program that a valid customer wants. From my conversation with RP last year and confirmed earlier this year by the PRs, EDIG can customize the eVU to the needs of the customer.

The eVU is not a finished consumer product which sits in a distribution center. The eVU is a customize ODM product. My guess is we will not see product branded ``eVU`` in the marketplace. There are WAY too many competitors in the consumer electronics channel and EDIG simply has no way to compete.

So, if Willy can sell a program to an entity who wishes to rent the units, no problem. EDIG can stay in the revenue stream with logistics and updates.

If Willy can sell the units outright to an entity, no problem. EDIG can also sell aftermarket support, if needed.

If Willy and gang can rent units based on a longer term lease contracts, again, no problem. Financing can easily be obtained using the customer`s purchase order / contract. I send customers to Textron and GE Finance. Many other finance companies offer these type of programs and use the the customer`s direct payments as their collateral.

Bottom line: Sales to anybody, rental contracts to anybody -- as long they pay -- are good. No sales bees bad. Today, ANY sale is good news and far better than the alternative.

Note to EDIG: Sell stuff, not stock.
