The funny thing is DELL could have had a leg up in that market had they gone with EDIG and established themselves prior to the ipod`s arrival. They delayed and ended up using Creative`s design...with little or no fan fare.

Their model for computers and Dell DJs don`t jive imo...very different target markets.

However, it`s not over yet. I do remember them not fully appreciating the magnitude or potential of the MP3 market in those early days.
