Interesting question, and hits my ``funny bone`` (LOL). I only say this because I recall all the discussion about EDIG`s deal with Wencor, the delays by Maycom, and how (supposedly) there was no formal contract between EDIG and Wencor, and no set delivery date (so EDIG could not default on its contract with Wencor, cuz there was none). Undoubtedly, Wencor coughed up the 50% front money for those digEs - with (again, supposedly) no contract.

But you are absolutely right with: ``I know I certainly would not open my wallet if I didn`t have something in writing as to what I would be getting for my money....``. I wouldn`t either!

Oh well, I`m done with the contracts thread....
