Funny you should throw that in, Moreorles. I had actually reconsidered my response to Bill, and planned to offer this modification:
A contract for the sale of goods or services must include consideration to be a valid contract.
Again, in the business world, ``consideration`` means MONEY. But ``consideration`` in this sense is not required to form a valid contract where there is no requirement for delivery of goods or services. Your point about ``I`ll do this for that`` has merit, but a contract can be formed where one party is required to do something, but the other need not do any specific thing in return.
