There were a ton of people trying to help, but the emergency equipment had to have the streets as clear as possible. Amazingly, they now have all but 25 home back on line and thousands of new poles up and running. By working 3 shifts with a lot of OT they flat ``got `er done.``

Of course, we are having a stunning 75 and sunny kinda day and should be like this all week. That will help the cleanup.

Oh, the kids were out of school today and going back on Tuesday. They were scattered everywhere picking up the mess and taking food to the shelters / older folks. The kindness of others till amazes after all these years...
