This joint presentation will describe the Air Canada vision, what was needed to create an IFE system (what Thales calls the i4500) that essentially met the goal and the vision, some of the challengers, and current in-service performance. This is the first time in the industry that an AVoD system has been installed on such a small single aisle aircraft.
