Yep it is very strange how/why some things can be recalled and never forgotten.... Here`s another:

During my 27 years in the USAF, I`ve had several different serial numbers, but the only one I can remember is my enlisted number...AF 17 227 272.

And strangest yet is I still know my Father`s Army serial number....R 255058. Why that one stays in my head is beyond me!

At 75 years young, my memory is certainly fading, but some things must be deeply imbedded for some unknown reason!!??
