Regarding focus on a second program, USC completes construction on a $60 plus million basketball arena in August...a dream that has spanned decades and is finally coming to fruition before next season...the Galen center.

USC has new management (coach Tim Floyd), and a new facility which both should help with recruiting over time and demonstrates the University`s commitment to the program.

With change, innovation and commitment comes progress.

Besides, Snoop dog is a Trojan...lol.

Now if EDIG can finally deliver on any of its several fronts, we might experience a similar fate. They also have new management, and a new facility...lol...they just need $60 million.

It`s much more difficult to develop a first class football program than a basketball program, hence so many Cinderella teams making noise in March. Therefore it is likely USC can develop a bigger presence in both sports...
