As for the SoCal teams, they can play well when they play real competition. However, the every Saturday college game is much better from top to bottom in the SEC, IMO.
Round Ball at USC will be tough. If you look at the top football programs, very few have top drawer basketball programs. It`s a matter of focus and money. UCLA was never a top 10 football program, they play basketball. Same for Duke, NC, Syracuse, Villanova, Gonzaga, etc...it is also why we keep Kentucky in the SEC. They play a little round ball, but have no idea what a football looks like on a regualr basis.
As for EDIG and IP protection vs. eVU news, I think it is a toss up. Unless EDIG already has that sugar daddy legal team trollin` for business, it will be a long time to see any real dollars. Remember, PTSC sent out the first notices in Jan 2003 and began reaping the rewards this year...that`s a three year wait. Even if EDIG`s trollers can cut that in half, it`s still a long time without cash and the infringers (if any) will certainly know the score before they play in the game. IMO, without eVU sales, I`m not sure EDIG can continue to be an ongoing entity without large chunks of the 100M authorized shares being put into the game short term, as in this year.
That stated, I think there is a good chance one of the eVU customers coughs up a real live purchase order. How much? & When? are the wild cards. Plus, if you throw the chance of a military contract, that`s real stuff with tangible revenue in the near term with a specific revenue generating timeline, IMO.
