``I`m sorry, I don`t get your point at all.``

It`s not hard to understand...CISC computing will not carry the weight that it use to...by that 336 is that less important.

TPL and PTSC are more or less collecting on an old debt...I`m still involved and hope they get something...how significant remains to be seen.

336 for Shaboom traces through an 8 bit bus structure 4 register scheme ...that has the ability to manage 32 bit...as fast or faster than a 32 bit bus....1/4 the structure to develop..with the same or better results.

For that they can utilize cheaper DRAM memory.

A few things going on there they carried forward into there new stuff.

``RISC is another way to go but it ain`t happening on a massive scale just yet,``

IMO...it`s 50/50 now...and as it,s looking to me anyway...it`s much easier to implement and tie to the embedded levels...ARM is RISC...and its the rage.

There on going developments are RISC....Why have they moved in this direction?...IMO because they have developed better short cuts than their CISC endeavors.

I`d like to see their current developments(IMO more important than their past)utilized by those that have stated an intent to do so.

Or will that collection happen 10 years out...similar to their current collection..on the tail end after all the big bucks have been made.

All we can do is wait and see what happens...
