Okay, I have to ask this finally ... what is `bashing?`

Is it possible to say anything that reflects negatively on the company, or better yet shines a light on some negative reality about the company, without it being bashing? Are there a certain number of times one can say something negative before tripping the `basher` tripwire? What is the required ratio of good stuff to bad stuff comments needed to stay in the favor of the board monitors?

J Collier said once in September that the O1000 production and distribution (I`m paraphrasing) due for October was right on schedule. It was something like January before it was clear he was not telling the truth. Is there a certain grace period required before someone can kind of you know, imply that management was not very forthcoming? Or is it only okay to call him a lying bastard after he has left the company? (no reflection on the company, of course

Yes, that is an example from ancient history, but those who don`t learn from history are condemned to repeat it.

Just wondering about this ``basher`` stuff.
