Ittiam is an IP developer of real time DSP applications....they offer a video decoder for decoding files of DivX. e.Digital has utilized it for the DigEplayer...surrounding it with a security scheme....protecting the IP as well as the file decoded through it.

The hubbub on that one is the security issue....we have no idea if it`s a combination of flashFPGA/DSP.... a dedicated ASIC/DSP....flash/DSP(as MOS has a security scheme devised within..that functions within flash)

IMO its a flash FPGA /DSP....with MOS driving from the flash backed to the FPGA.

It has approval of content providers
