Wencor Announces PMA Agreement With Cathay Pacific Airways

SPRINGVILLE, Utah - December 31, 2004 - Wencor today announced a five-year PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) parts development alliance with Cathay Pacific Airways. This agreement is the first PMA development agreement for Cathay Pacific Airways.

The alliance between Wencor and Cathay Pacific Airways will expand a growing relationship between the two organizations and is the second development contract for Wencor in Asia, a region where Wencor is continuing to grow. Wencor also has PMA development agreements with other carriers including United, Delta, Air Canada and Japan Airlines.

According to the agreement, Wencor will supply Wencor and Wencor partner FAA approved parts to Cathay Pacific Airways. During the next five years, Wencor and its partners will develop additional FAA approved aircraft interior and airframe parts for Cathay Pacific`s fleet. The development of new parts will benefit many of Wencor`s other customers as well by increasing the availability of approved replacement parts that offer additional savings.
