The price was never at $14 in 1997. I think the guy meant to say he bought in 1999, got his purchase price wrong,then therefore got his profit wrong, and then paid the wrong taxes. Then in Jan of 2000, the price went to $14.

Guess whoever wrote this story didn`t check the facts very well.
