If you arent planning to be in Hamburg April 4, 5, and 6, you might be missing out on the next installment of this European venues continued expansion into IFE. Billing its self as the biggest IFE show on the planet with 10,650 attendees and over 150 airlines, 400 exhibitors, and situated in some 7 halls, AIE may have a point. Boeing and Airbus have their own halls and this year they will feature a First Class Business Zone...sounds very interesting. AIEs open approach to allowing visitors in without restriction (you pay for the sessions and presentations only) may be one secret to their success. Additionally, their broad range of product displays include seating and fabrics, in-flight entertainment and communications technologies, galley systems and food service equipment, lavatories, lighting, laminates, floor coverings, refurbishment and cabin maintenance products, and safety equipment help the attendance, no doubt. We strongly recommend this venue if you dont plan to attend other shows, or even if you do, as AIE has become one of the premier events that provide a real industry show-and-tell! Check out their website for registration information and we will see you there.
