I believe it`s a straight 50-50 split of proceeds; TPL does the leg work AND gets to tout Moore`s name in a big way (ignoring the actual inventor - the hardware guy - Mr./Dr. Fish). Look how the money has been split, e.g., HP settled for a little over $20M, and PTSC got a little over $10M of it per their SEC filing.
