Los Angeles, February 20, 2006 - Lumexis Corporation has begun a worldwide demonstration tour with its new FTTSTM (Fiber-To-The-SeatTM) In-Flight Entertainment system. The result of nearly three years of work springing from proprietary aerospace optics technologies, the system provides unprecedented Gibabit-per-second bandwidth to each passenger screen. Installed without any electronic boxes under the seat or elsewhere in the cabin, this unique product promises entertainment options which have never before been possible, yet at a fraction of the weight and price of existing systems.

The company is headed by two senior managers both well-known to the airline entertainment industry – J. Douglas Cline, former president of Sony Trans Com, now Lumexis’ CEO, and Richard J. Salter, co-founder of AirShow, now CTO of this company.
